Neurocognitive Assessment Clinic

Older Woman

The Neurocognitive Assessment Clinic within our Center offers comprehensive clinical evaluations for individuals with concerns about cognitive decline and dementia.  Evaluations are tailored to individual needs and used to discriminate between normal age-related changes, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia.  In addition, psychoeducational groups are available to the community to aid in understanding the brain-related changes that occur with aging, as well as strategies to help preserve cognitive abilities.  Group topics include memory training, stress reduction techniques, and lifestyle counseling designed to enhance optimal cognitive performance.

Brain Workout: Exercise your brain! Classes are being offered for women in mid-life. Studies show that brain workouts significantly help improve memory and attention.  Let us get you started! Please call Dr. Tonita Wroolie for more information – 650/724-9269.
